Have we said before how much we love a good Queenstown mountain wedding? Abby and Alex came all the way from Connecticut and eloped to Queenstown. An ideal place for a couple of adventurous souls. So adventurous, they volunteered to make wedding ‘snow angels’ in a handy patch of the cold stuff! Looked great on film so thanks guys!
Their ceremony was held on Garden Spur, Cecil Peak with a short film and photo shoot to follow. Back on the ground (thanks to Heliworks) we got to hang out for a while. Lake Hayes was an idyllic spot for some more film and photo fun. Including Alex doing hand stands at the end of the jetty. We’re very glad he didn’t fall in. Although at least cameras would have been rolling.
“Oh my gosh!!! Everything is so beautiful! And thank you for finding the Lake Hayes location for us… I almost like those photos more than up on Cecil Peak! So beautiful. And the video is perfect! 🙂 It’s so cheesy and love-y dove-y, we’re trying not to blush while we watch it, but it definitely surpassed expectation. Thank you! I can’t say it enough! [We have] SO many jealous friends. And many who think you should submit your photos into wedding magazines. And all are thankful that you captured our day so perfectly so they could see it. :)” Abby and Alex
