Casey and George – Romance, Wine Cellars and the Most Touching Poem Ever – Peregrine Winery Wedding Video
Casey and George – Peregrine Winery Wedding Video – Romance and Wine Cellars
Casey is from China, George is from Chile, they live in Christchurch yet had a beautiful, romantic wedding in Queenstown! Probably the understatement of the day came from George: ‘I just have to try to look handsome’. So our job was easy really. Just capture two beautiful people with their combined friends and families in two incredible settings. Especially when they tell you beforehand, “we trust you, do whatever you think will look good”. What looks good is not anything we did. Instead we simply captured two of the nicest people who clearly adore each other having the best day of their lives. And their families absolutely rocking it on the dance floor.
The Woolshed at Peregrine Winery was transformed by Mint Events into a butterfly-themed space. It had warmth and charm and looked AMAZING. The butterfly cake and cake pops were made by Cherry Blossom Cakes. It seemed like they were made especially to be twirled and turned into a stop motion sequence. So that’s just what we did. And the brilliant thing about a cloudy day is it makes for great time lapses with swirling, stormy clouds.
Perhaps our favourite time of the day was during the reception. We sneaked off with Casey and George to the barrel room at Peregrine Winery. A wonderful space with textures, light and perspective lines. Most of all we were blown away with how natural these two were on film. We are especially thankful they trusted us. The footage was better than we could ever have hoped for and we’re a bit proud of this film.
